Jesus Christ said, “I AM THE WAY, the Truth,
and the Life. No one comes to the Father, except THROUGH ME!”
(John
14:6)
WHAT DOES GOD WANT ME TO DO?
ADMIT that you are a sinner, that God
has not been first in your life, and ask Him to forgive your sins.
“If
we confess our sins, He is faithful and just and will forgive us
our sins and cleanse us from every wrong.”
(1 John 1:9)
BELIEVE that Jesus died to pay for your sins and that
He rose again on Easter, and is alive today. Believe that Jesus Christ
is Lord.
“Whoever believes and is baptized will be saved, but whoever
does not believe will be condemned.”
(Mark 16:16)
Please also refer to John 20:31; Acts 4:12; and 1 Corinthians
15:1-4.
“If you confess that Jesus is your Lord, and you believe
in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.”
(Romans
10:9)
REPENT and change your course.
“I tell you, no! But unless you repent,
you too will all perish.”
(Luke 13:3)
Please also refer to Acts 2:38 and 2 Corinthians 7:10
“The Lord is
not slow in keeping his promise, as some understand slowness. He
is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to
come to repentance.”
(2 Peter 3:9)
Our relationship to God is not restored by anything
we do, but on the basis of what Jesus already did for us!
“For it
is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this not from
yourselves, it is the gift of God – not by works, so that no one
can boast.”
(Ephesians 2:8-9)
CONFESS Jesus Christ as Lord, and invite Him to
come into your life and be the director (“Lord) of your life.
Please
also refer to Matthew 10:32; Romans 10:9-10; and Acts 10:48
“When Jesus came to the region of Caesarea Philippi, he asked his disciples,
“Who do people say the Son of Man is?” They replied, “Some say John
the Baptist; others say Elijah; and still others, Jeremiah or one
of the prophets.” “But what about you?” he asked. Who do you say
I am?” Simon Peter answered, “You are the Christ, the Son of the
living God.”
(Matthew 16:13-16)
Be BAPTIZED in water.
“For all of you who were baptized into Christ have clothed yourselves
with Christ.”
(Galatians 3:27)
The Bible tells us, “If we confess our sins, He is
faithful and just to forgive our sins and cleanse us from all unrighteousness.”
(1
John 1:9)
Put your faith to work and tell us about your decision so
that we can provide you with additional information. Then spend time
developing your relationship with God through regular prayer and
Bible study, church fellowship and sharing the “good news” with others.
